WILMS tumor
Risk Factors: WAGR syndrome & Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome (hypertrophy of one half of the body)
Tumor suppressor genes: WT-1 (11p13), WT-2 (11p15)
Large solitary, tan mass
Micro: triphasic appearence 1. metanephric blastema, 2. epithelial elements (immature glomeruli and tubules), 3. stroma
Tx: qx, chemo, radio.
Excellent prognosis
WAGR= Wilms tumor ,Aniridia, Genitourinary abnormalitis , mental Retardation
